Jul 17, 2014 · Cut the cap down to about 30mm, so the fuel flap can close properly, and drilled a small hole in the top to provide a vent. The diameter of the cap is now about 60mm, so i just stood it in a bowl of boiling water (careful now !) for five minutes,so it's nice and pliable, then took it out to the car and pressed it down onto the housing.
